The Homogenous Pink Project
Research Collaborators: Kathleen Akins (SFU) and Jason Leardi (University of Wisconsin-Madison)
This project is a spin-off of Jason Leardi's MA Professional Paper "The Scientifc Image—Now is Color! Or: Don't Take Back The Given". What we hope to show that much of what Sellars said about colour perception and colour development was prescient—that, in broad outline, Sellar's view is corroborated by both the psychophysics of human colour vision, and work on the development of chromatic and luminance vision in children. Part of this project porject was presented at the Sellars' Centenary Conference in June 2012 in Dublin, Ireland.
